Who We Are

We have been supporting literacy skills in the Craigmillar community since 1998. We work to achieve our vision that every person is empowered through literacy.

Our Projects

Our programmes are designed in consultation with the communities of Craigmillar, Niddrie, Magdalene and Bingham in Edinburgh, Scotland. We work in partnership with individuals and agencies including:

  • Children and young people
  • Parents and carers
  • Health visitors
  • Speech and language therapists
  • The local library
  • Early years settings
  • Schools and community groups.

Staff & Board Members

The Board of Directors governs our organisation. Our Board members have extensive knowledge of
working in the charity and public sectors and have wide knowledge of children’s rights, literacy, creative writing, finance and management.
